Hello tall blogger men, There seems to be a higher ratio of women to men who respond to these blogs. What subjects would entice you tall, wonderful men to chime in? What do you guys like to talk about? I'd like to hear from a lot more than the several men who fairly regularly respond and throw in their opinion. Don't get me wrong--I appreciate reading everyone's comments. It's just that I know there are more tall men out there who frequent this site, than respond to these blogs, and I'd like to hear from them, too. So, what do you all like to talk about?? Inquiring minds want to know! Lady in waiting...Imfiveten

Hi all you tall friends out there, both male and female. As a nurse, I've recently become aware of a syndrome that afflicts SOME tall people. It's Marfan syndrome and can be fatal. You can find out more at Marfan.org. I'm interested if anyone else has comments or personal experience with this. I learned about it in Tall Magazine. Imfiveten

Humor is a wonderful aspect of a person and is a window to the soul. Please share with me your favorite joke. Mine is:
A pirate walked into a bar and the bartender said, "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible". "What do you mean?" said the pirate, "I feel fine" "What about the wooden leg? You didn't have that before." "Well, we were in a battle and I got hit with a cannon ball, but I'm fine now". "Well, ok, but what about that hook? What happened to your hand?" "We were in another battle. I boarded a ship and got into a sword fight. My hand was cut off. I got fitted with a hook. I'm fine, really". "What about that eye patch?" "Oh, one day we were at sea and a flock of birds flew over. I looked up and one of them dutied in my eye". "You're kidding," said the bartender, "I didn't think you could lose an eye just from a bird doing that in your eye". "It was my first day with the hook."
I love that one! Now what's yours??

Food for thought

I feel much of it boils down to what we "think" we want, and what we actually "do" want... It is hard enough trying to show a true intimacy in person, I can't imagine it's any easier to write it. I personally fear sounding (or writing) to openly, and to honestly... Many of us have been in relationships, and we have come to learn what it is we do and do not want in our next... It is hard to find a mate or a partner that is able to express their needs, their wants, and their desires... without being really vulnerable to others. And, that really scares people. To put ourselves, really put ourselves out there for others to look at... I think also, that it could be one word, or one statement that we do not understand, and do not wish to find out more about what that person means... Or maybe, it really boils down to the visual, if we are not attracted to the person who has winked/contacted us, or the person we have winked/contacted, is not attracted to us... It could be really that simple... projected image...
