I know that the whole idea of meeting new people online - believe me, I know. It can be scary, intimidating and nerve-wracking, especially to those of us who are new to this whole process of online interaction.
Still, there appear to be some out there who don't share these concerns, especially while they are safely separated by a few hundred miles of computer cable. There are people who believe they can do the "Creep" thing and scare off others with the way-too-aggressive, almost more...

Are these the folks that are making it so hard for some people to respond? What is up with the dozens, maybe hundreds of folks out there who say stuff like "I Love Meeting New People" and "Write Me if You Want To Talk" but never seem to bother to write back. I understand that not everyone wants to get hot and heavy with everyone who email them - that's not the problem. The problem lies in the fact that so few people seem to be willing to even send a simple note back.
I risk sounding hokey by quoting Jerry Seinfeld, but "What's Up With That!?" less...
It's nice to see posts from two very literate people. I think the only time I shy away from responding is when I get the really awful emails from guys who have never been "their" or want to be "frends" first. Ugh... Keep a positive attitude... I think it will help.
AKJumper, I totally agree with you....People say they want to be friends, but never/rarely respond when you try and reach out. Thanks for responding to me! You're starting to restore my faith! LOL
