In my profile at Tall Friends I clearly wrote that I am interested only in very tall men. I was in shock when I started to receive mails mainly from short men, who were very creative:
1.I received message from man 2.10 after some time he wrote that he is 1.60 but the profile was created by his very tall friend who gave the profile to him…. 2.Next message was from man (2.00), later he wrote that he did mistake filling in dating profile…. 3.I chatted with man (2.15) , he asked if I left boyfriend who had a car crash and he became much more shorter. I answered that I would not leave my boyfriend when he would have health problems but I would do that if he was short man who cheated women in the internet pretending that he is very tall.
Why? Why short men cheat but they expect that tall women should be honest?

There is a difference between ethics and integrety. Ask any attorney, it's all about what you can get away with before you're caught. I much prefer to tell the truth about my height, age, social status or availability than to be caught up in a lie of my own making. Eventually the truth WILL come out, and it leaves the one who crafted their own reality gasping for air trying to come up with a new story.

Ananke, It is unfortunate that you have had to deal with some of the many jerks and frauds on the net, but they are frauds that happened to be shorter. Not all men under 6ft plus are liars or have ego problems. Just as not all taller men are honest or gentlemen either. Many tall women tell me the tall men they date expect them to put out or treat them like kings just because they are tall. I'm 5'10, not 5'8, not 5'11", not 6'2" but I'm on the site because my preference is for a woman taller than myself. I see no need to lie about it because whomever I meet will dig me for me or not and vice versa. Many years ago some of the women who responded to my personal ad specifically seeking a woman 6ft or over lied about their height and age. Ultimately I fell in love with one of them despite the deception and married her. The marriage lasted 10 years before we separated. Both sexes of any height are capable of deception. Anyway, good luck to you and may you find happiness and love with the tall man of your dreams.
