Noticed we have some friends from the deep south that hang out on the site? hoping ya?ll will help out a future lost traveler?
Looks like I will be lucky enough to have a few days in Sydney .. (with a little more luck and kindness from QANTAS).. I will have a few days in Brisbane.. (already spending some time in Townsville)?
My question is? given a few days in each place... what do I HAVE to see? Preferably anything off the beaten path... For me, it?s more the adventure and not necessarily the quest (yes, I drove for days to see the big ball of twine)... also, please, nothing deadly... I watch Animal Planet, Discovery, etc? ya?ll got some nasty critters down that way?
Any other advice.. i.e. eat here.. drink here, etc etc..
