Well, TallFriends says that this place is for tall people, and their friends and admirers. But some of the guys here are so condescending.

It's OK to rule me out simply because I'm not tall enough (heck, maybe I've done the same thing to one of you!) but there's no need to be rude about it.

I think the anonymity of screen names makes some people forget that there's a real lady on the other end of their monitor who's also trying to find a wonderful partner.

I've never hidden the fact that I'm "vertically challenged" on this site, but there have been too many conversations like go like this:

me: "Hi, how are you doing? I saw your profile, and would like to chat for a bit if you're available."

him: "R U 5 ft 4?"

me: "Yes, I am."

him: ...

Nothing. They just hang up or put me on ignore or something.

I'm not scarred for life or anything, but I'd like to think this site attracts more quality people than that!
