My first date idea hmm.... well, going out for coffee is definitely good for a first date unless my date doesn't like coffee lol. Then we would have to go to a tea place instead because most people like tea I believe. Since I don't drive, my date would have to take me out but I would still pay my way because I do have money, I just prefer not to drive.
