The other day I was walking around Belle Isle here in Richmond VA. It is such a cool space. It is an island that is right in the path of the great James River. The history that surrounds the area is so disturbing. If you were to walk around without knowing the history behind the area you would miss one of the most important places in the USA. Belle Isle is the former confederate prison camp here in Richmond VA. Go see you national parks and be grateful when you say Nation.....many people dont get through a civil war like the USA did.

State and National parks are Great places to visit.  They all have a history behind them, from geological to human, and these stories make the visit worth the effort.  Beyond the chance to find some solitude you can learn more about your world through these parks.

Dear Miss "it", aka Kimba,

Stop being so mean and negative towards people, not everyone is as perfect as you think you are.
