Photos that include children, maybe not the best idea.  I know in some countries that would be considered a violation of privacy laws, but in the US, it's fairly normal.  The EU does place a higher priority on privacy than the US anyway.

My favorite is when there is a profile without a picture, and the member tells you for physical apperance, "you decide".  I'm less likely to look into a profile without a photo, I guess I just don't have the courage of Forrest Gump with his box of chocolates.

There are many reasons why people dont post pics. It could be because they cant afford a camera, or they are ashamed of their appearance, or maybe they dont have the time to upload any. But it annoys the living hell out of me whenever I do a search, and virtually half of the profiles on this site dont have a photo.

A lot of guys seem to have "picture less" profiles. I think it should be mandatory that people put up their photos. This is an online "meeting" site and we should be able to see who we are reading about and then if we find the person looks presentable, then we contact them. If a profile does not have a picture then many times other people just go on to the next profile with a photo.

I saw a woman who had posted a picture of herself in a wedding dress!!!
Thinking about it, she may have been a success story.

Well I think that for me and probably for many others a picture won't be an advantage at the moment. I have a "few extra pounds" which I intend to lose before posting an actual picture.

Even better- women (and probably men) who post a picture with more than one woman in it without saying which one she is. Eenie, meenie, minie, Hey Mo!
But then, why would a man need to say which one he is?

Yeah, I know what you mean about people seeming shady in regards to lack of pictures.

And I understand what you mean about how people upload pics with good-looking people. I believe it is to show that they can be with good-looking people, and a lot of people find that they need to be surrounded by good-looking people in order to look better en masse to those around them.

These sites and the internet are for sharing information. I say if you are too private to share photos and information, maybe you shouldn't be trying to meet people online. People who don't share photos or information about themselves immediately come off to me as being a bit shady. My two cents.

actually on that NOTE....I REALLY want to know WHY in the world to certain women upload these PICS with there arms WRAPPED around some smoken Cut guy...whats the point to that. I certainly wouln't post one of me with MY arms wrapped around some hot women.
