To try sailing go to your local yacht or sailing club. Usually there is fun racing on tuesday, wednesday, and thursday nights. Most boat owners welcome pick up crew usually to sit on deck as moveable ballast. Its a good way to find out if you like sailing. I race sometimes but my style isn't racing, but a more relaxed style dictated by personal comfort and weather conditions. Try it or contact me with your questions. This is interesting. Leaving from my home port, yet I haven't met the man. Great sailing to you sir. My question is do the guys go sailing and meeting the world and the tall women stay home? What's up with that? Its been written that this is a fear driven society. Please note that if it were so dangerous, people wouldn't have been doing it for hundreds of years.
