Alright, so like all other normal women on Earth...I love shoes, especially heels! I'm 6'2" and have a body like Maria Sharapova (but am a brunet)and have been wearing beautiful heels since I was 18. I've always wondered though, what is the real general opinion about REALLY tall women? them dating shorter men? and the opinion of tall men dating tall women? All of this I wonder and have gotten numerous answers that were all over the board. I'm just wondering what the world has to say about my wonderings and if they would run in the opposite direction if they say a women like me walking in 4 inch heals? haha
I'm a proud 6'2 and i love 3inch or higher heels.. For a long time growing up i hated being tall,but I have embraced my long legs and i love it. Plus on top of that i have a wonderman man that loves tall woman. He loves seeing me in heels and short dresses or skirts.. he is the first man that i've dated that is eye level to me. So to all you wonderful tall sister out there.. don't be afriad of heels get you a pair.. tip heels make your legs look sexy and men love tall woman in sexy heels..
It's awesome to me that the women that have posted here have proudly proclaimed they wear heels(and hey, if heels aren't your thing, more power to you!). I've seen hundreds of tall women, though only a handful wearing heels, and it only magnifies your beauty(ten-fold for me since I love a woman in heels, lol). I never imagined that heels could bring attention to a woman's legs though, they always seem to bring out their best facial features and hair, sort of like being the center of attention as others have mentioned.
I highly recommend tall ladies dating men both taller and shorter- I'm a man who wishes he could date taller, but my main features I look for aren't in height, but in personality, ambition, and a few key factors that one just has to experience in person. So, I've never shut the door to women who are shorter than myself, and have experienced an awesome relationship with a woman 8 inches shorter and don't regret a thing. =] I know, that sounds normal to most, but normal to me would be to date someone at least close to my height.
PLEASE don't date shorter guys. Where I live it is impossible to find a tall lady. I'm 6'8" and have wanted to date a tall lass my whole adult life. Where are they? Looks like the USA is where I will have to start!
You look absolutely fabulous, I'd bet, and men (and other women) are in awe of you. I'm 5'10 and I routinely wear 4- to 5-inch heels. Personally, I love the attention and stares. I think shorter women WISH they had legs like ours.
There are few things more wonderful than walking into a place and watching heads turn or lean into one another to whisper! I'm 6'1 and I own a closet FULL of high heels. My tallest pair put me at 6'7 and there is no shame in that! As for dating shorter guys, I'm sure you get this all the time as well- "I bet you date tall guys, huh?" I always reply that i date NICE guys. Being closed to the idea that taller women can date shorter men is ridiculous. Naturally I prefer taller men but if you close yourself off from men of a shorter stature you could truly miss out on something great. It's all about confidence! (and the guys are onto something in reference to how amazing our legs look in them)
Rock the heels sister! I am just a little 6 footer here and I rock the heels all the time. I love walking into a room and everyone just drops their jaw!
As far as the short vs tall ratio of dating...in my experiences, shorter men are def attracted to taller women and they "jump" lol to approach you...taller men seem to shy away and I would love to know why? I love a tall man...I mean I would stop anything I am doing just to admire a good looking tall man! Whew..with that said hope I answered your question.

At 6'6" I tended to shy away from Heels until a boyfriend bought me a pair of 3" heels that I wore in the Miss Tall International Pagent back in the 80's!! Well for the last 30 years I have PROUDLY wore my heels and have always been the center of attention and still very feminine.
Any man that runs from you is a fool. I'm 6'8" and would love to meet a woman that is at least 6' tall. You can wear heels all you want as long as I get to look at your legs. Any serious height difference always draws Mutt and Jeff thoughts and comments.
Hey the taller the better I say. I may be short, but I wouldn't mind at all if a woman your height or even taller wore heels. I've been with a couple of women around your height that did wear heels. I can only admire it, and if the man has a problem with it, the problem is really within the man himself, not the woman. It's called insecurity.
Tall women and shorter men should be considered normal as long as the two partners are happy with each other. There aren't many couples where the female is much taller than the male... it would be nice to see the numbers increase. To tell you the truth a lot of us are just going to end up being lonely for a lifetime if we can't bend the rules a little bit. There are plenty of interracial couples... what is so hard to accept about a TALL WOMAN and shorter man partnership?
freaking effeminate guys on here. i'm the same height as you and i think its weird for tall girls to date short guys. its the same as when really tall guys date short girls. tall girls should go with tall guys.
